Acquired in June 2011 after a broken sales process and as one of the earliest downtown San Francisco transactions post-GFC, 115 Sansome Street is a 14-story “Historically Significant” building well located at the corner of Sansome and Bush Streets in the heart of the City’s North Financial District. The property had been well leased historically, but experienced significant vacancies three years prior to Harvest’s acquisition. At the time of acquisition, when few others were willing or able to commit capital to re-lease and reposition this property, Harvest acted quickly and confidently to transform the old, traditional office suites into open-concept creative workspaces – one of the first buildings in this market to do so. Additionally, as part of the repositioning effort, Harvest activated the ground floor to create a neighborhood gathering spot and dining destination which helped to transform the image of the asset and attract new tenants.
